Royal Wentworth was a life-long resident of Mason City, Iowa, and he taught and coached in Mason City schools for 31 years. On September 10, 2012, he died doing something he loved very much—running with his middle school cross country team.The Royal Run honors Royal, and all proceeds go to the Royal Wentworth Memorial Scholarship Fund. Please come out with us in September 2014 to celebrate Royal’s life and the education and sporting communities in North Iowa.
